I’m looking to add a part time maven to the team! Think you might be a fit and aligned with the Maven Made brand? Please read the job description below and follow the steps to send your information.
The job: Part time Maven Made assistant starting in September through the holiday season (with a potential opportunity for future help). The role will involve but not be limited to the following:
Help packing orders
Driving orders to the post office
Delivering orders to local stockists
Running errands for ingredients and office supplies
Representing and vending Maven Made at local pop-up events (involves set up, break down and using a Square Reader)
Light production work making products
Possibly assisting with social media to help drive sales
The hours: 5 hours a week starting in September and up to 15 hours a week in holiday months (November and December).
The pay: $12/hr. If you work a pop-up, you will also make a commission on sales. Pop-ups are a lot of work and I want to make sure to compensate your time, patience and energy.
The space: At this time Maven Made operates out of my home studio in the north side of Richmond. Please be comfortable working out of a home studio along with our 2 cats (Gaga and Maeve) and dog (Grant).
The requirements: Please be familiar with the Maven Made brand, products and values. A background in retail sales or marketing would is preferred, but not necessary. You must have your own transportation, as you will be driving orders to the post office and local stores and vending.
The personality: Punctual, friendly, creative, social media savvy, open-minded, and dependable.
