I’m looking to add a part time holiday assistant to help make our busiest time of year abundant, organized and fun. Think you might be a fit and aligned with the Maven Made brand? Please read the job description below and follow the steps to send your information.

The job: part time assistant starting in September through December (with a potential opportunity for future help). The role will involve but not be limited to the following:

  • Help assembling orders

  • Driving orders to the post office

  • Delivering orders to local stockists

  • Running errands for ingredients and office supplies

  • Representing and vending Maven Made goods at local pop-up events (involves set up, break down, making sales and using a Square reader)

  • Light production work making/labeling products

  • Assisting with social media, creating content and/or marketing

The hours: Will consist of 5-8 hours a week and will have the potential to increase during busy holiday months (November and mainly December). Please be available for the following events on: 9/21, 11/12, 12/5, 12/14 and 12/22 (likely more to add as we book events).

The pay: $11/hr + a commission on sales if you are working a pop-up event. Assistance with social media has the potential to increase your hourly wage. Oh, and a discount on products, too.

The space: At this time Maven Made operates out of my home studio in the north side of Richmond. Please be comfortable working out of a home studio along with our 2 cats (Gaga and Maeve) and dog (Grant).

The requirements: If you’re not familiar, please get to know about the Maven Made brand and what it represents through our About page, FAQ and Instagram account. A background in retail sales or marketing is always a bonus, but not necessary. You must have your own transportation, as you will be driving to the post office, local stockists and events.

The personality: Punctual, friendly, creative, attention to detail, social media savvy, open-minded, and dependable. In return I want to hear your thoughts, ideas and feedback, too! Open communication is key.
